Interview MARA 2012

Assalamualaikum dan selamat sejahtera!

Sori sangat-sangat sebab  ELEMENT 5 , OUR JOURNEY BEGINS HERE  terpaksa postpone , sebab nak cerita pasal interview . Huhu . MAAFKAN SAYA.

Hari ni saya dan a few batchmates pergi interview MARA !

“ cecite cecite… ! ”

Kawan-kawan yang berminat mesti cakap macamtu kan ? So this is my experience tadi di IKM JB panel 3 , 9.00 pagi . Disebabkan rumah saya ni dekat , kat senai je , so saya datang lah awal. Punya lah semangat , arrived pukul 8.00 pagi . Pada 8.30 pagi kitorang daftar dan duduk menunggu kat tingkat 2 . Semua orang sangat peramah dan want to know each other fast. Ye lah , kan penting utk interview nanti. Jadi kami pun buat ice breaking , urusetia MARA tu tak marah pun, jangan malu-malu organise je sendiri . We then introduce each other :

We consist of 7, yup ,  sorg lagi tak datang , sakit perut agknye, haha. Mereka bernama Syahira, Aisyah, Amira, Syafiqah, Reen dan saya Aflah . Semua orang mohon untuk medic, SUKA! n I was the only gentleman . Never imagined 1+6, slalu 1+4 je , faham ? hehe .

Masuk bilik untuk panel 3. Bilik dia macam classroom Sains Sultan Iskandar, Mersing. 8 meja disusun berdepan four by four dan grouped. Macam formation masa primary dulu tuuu. Kami duduk dan terus mula.

Task given about medicine :

You are the only doctor on call. Two patient that badly injured arrived. One is a 20 years old young man, sole breadwinner in his family, has an outstanding result in study. The another one is a 60 year old successful businessman and had contribute much to the country. You must choose which one to save first. 

We divide ourselves into two groups-4(20y.o.) vs 3(60y.o.). 5 min discuss n the debate begun .The main point here is everyone is right but they want to test your ‘speaking’. Just try and do your best. Don’t too harsh on others, just make a good stand on yourself. This is not a real debate. Jangan nak show off sangat lah kan. Hewhew.

Then they asked personal question. Jawab je sesuka hati dengan point yang dahsyat-dahsyat . Haha. But remember, English ! Tapi kalau dah jammed sangat, minta je izin nak cakap Bahasa Melayu . Takpe , diorang baik-baik sahaja. Lagi sekali ye kawan kawan, diorang baik-baik sahaja.

I got this ,

 “You have a 20 years old sick brother that has only 10% left chance to live. Then there is also a 7-year-old-boy who need a heart donation. Would u give ur brother’s heart to the boy?”  

Saya tak setuju, mana boleh ambil nyawa orang sesuka hati. Kan kan kan? Isy tak patut tak  patut . Ingat dah habis, kena tembak lagi satu, ;

“what if we have 4 patients that need organ donation which is heart, eyes, kidney and liver, would you change your mind?” still, I objected.

Then, Reen kena soal,

“ the old man suffer braindead condition, would you do utermination if his family asked to?”

Hurm puan, mak saya tak pernah ajar pon utermination. Ejaan pun saya tak tahu btol ke salah. Apa tu ??  Serius weyh , sume orang tak pernah dengar . Reen si budak STK terhebat kluang pun tak tahu , Hehe. Then dia rephrase jadi mercy killing. Phew, nasib baik ade seorang yangg tahu . Saya lah tu, hehe.

Soalan lain mcm , 

“what you think is the purpose of this exercice?” 

“what was your point again in the team?” 

Then end of session. Just like that. So just set your mind to grab whatever chance appear. At that time, it is a now or never situation. Got it?

Then semua boleh balik . Saya ambil no fon shahira je sebab dia pon akan pergi asasi pintar di UKM nant . Haaaa , got you ! Jangan nak buruk-buruk  sangka sangat lah kan. Haha.

So I concluded that :

1) Be urself, don’t pretend you are the greatest among others and dominate the group. ITS ANNOYING! 

2) Find good points. Its not good to speak out loud without precious ideas. Tu namanya tin kosong 

3) Have a good English. So if you still not good enough, practice now. Bla bla bla, practice je depan cermin 

4) 5 things needed. FORMAL ATTIRE, PEN, PAPER, VOICE and ‘BRAIN’. Slip tu mse daftar je gne. 

5) Be confident and optimistic. If you down, its done!

6) Always smile, make friends. If they like you, it will be easier. You can cooperate better.

#a friend call me  during the interview. Kuat gila bunyi macam guruh time nak hujan *okay yang ni tipu , sekadar hiperbola . Terus kena sound dgn panel .  I switched it off immediately and say sorry. Bila call balik kawan tu, dia cakap ,

 “eh, mne ada aku call , tertekan kot”. 

Moral, matikan phone or silent bila interview. Takut bad impression nanti .Okay , that's all for today . Terima kasih semua dan,,,,maafkan saya ^_^
